San Marino Motor Classic
The San Marino Motor Classic is the premier regional automotive exhibition in the San Gabriel Valley and one of the premier concours-level exhibitions in Southern California. Concours d’Elegance (French literal translation, “competition of elegance”) competitions have existed since seventeenth century France and since the mid-20th century in America. Other notable American Concours d’Elegance shows include Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in northern California, Meadow Brook in Michigan, Amelia Island in Florida and the Louis Vuitton Classic in New York.

The eleventh annual San Marino Motor Classic, Southern California’s Premier Automobile Showcase will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Lacy Park in San Marino. The Symphony of Cars Gala benefit will be held on Saturday evening, August 27th. Entrants and spectators are welcome to experience various events preceding the Motor Classic event.
The San Marino Motor Classic will have more than 400 mint condition collector cars on view throughout the day. The car selection committee has voted to host two new classes at the 2022 San Marino Motor Classic: Hot Rods – 1932 Ford – celebrating the 90th Anniversary of the 1932 Ford and its popularity as a platform for hot rods, and Porsche 356 Outlaw – a scion of the car collecting community. The Awards Ceremony begins at 1:30PM. For the fourth consecutive year, the Ferrari Club of America, Southwest Region will host the Concorso Ferrari at the San Marino Motor Classic. A number of vendors and food trucks will be onsite at the show. Sandwiches, salads, beverages, and snacks will be available for purchase. VIP Tickets include a gourmet luncheon and an adult beverage while taking a rest or watching the awards ceremony. Entrants and spectators are welcome to experience various events preceding the Motor Classic event, including the Automotive Fine Arts Society Exhibit & Sale opening reception on Saturday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM.
